Kishan Kumarsingh is a seasoned environmental diplomat known for his influential leadership in international climate change negotiations. With decades of experience, he has been instrumental in shaping global and national environmental and climate change policy, and has represented Trinidad and Tobago at the highest levels of climate governance.  A strategic leader with deep expertise in environmental chemistry, international environmental law, and multilateral diplomacy, Kishan has held key roles within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, including chairing expert groups and leading negotiations for significant agreements like the Paris Agreement. His contributions extend to regional initiatives, notably playing a crucial part in the Escazu Agreement in Latin America and the Caribbean. In Trinidad and Tobago, he has spearheaded environmental policy development, showcasing his commitment to global sustainability efforts. Kishan's enduring dedication to addressing climate challenges underscores his significant impact on shaping environmental diplomacy and advancing sustainable practices worldwide.
