Annette Rattigan-Leo
Annette Rattigan-Leo possesses over thirty years of experience working in Jamaica and Saint Lucia. During her tenure with the Government of Saint Lucia, Annette perforned roles that demonstrated her strong administrative and technical forte. Her last role with government was in the capacity of Chief Sustainable Development and Environment Officer, where she represented the government regionally and internationally.
Annette had the responsibility of coordinating and managing the successful development and completion of projects related to
Climate change, Biodiversity conservation and ocean governance among others. These include Saint Lucia's first and second Nationally Determined Contribution submissions to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
She served on local and regional committees and boards such as the National Sustainable Development Goals Committee, the National Human Rights Reporting Committee, the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards Technical Advisory Committee and the OECS Ocean Governance Committee to name a few.
Annette holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors in Physical Planning and Environmental Resource Development, with special training in areas including Environmental Impact Assessment, Climate Leadership and Standards Development.
After retiring from government, Annette spends her time giving support to students and young entrepreneurs developing proposals, delving into family business and enjoying her hobbies.
